Late March

The Spring has really started now. In my heavy clay soil many things have managed to bloom already: Snowdrops and early minature daffodils have finished as have the crocus. Best now are the late daffs and the camelia that my Mum bought me for my birthday years ago. It is about 1.8m tall now and full of deep pink blooms, the best it has ever been.
The chionadoxas are out in my front garden, a lovely clump of pink blooms was laid low by the rain earlier in the week, The blue ones are still upright - strange that. My nearly white pulminaria that I put in new are doing well, filling the gap where I hacked back a pink and white hebe after complaints about it scratching the car. Well if you will reverse into the border...

Small pink flowers on the double primroses are well out and the single ones are lovely too although some have finished bloming now.

This is my first post and there will be much more to come.
